Large‑format displays
and built‑in panels

A large‑format display is a large medical screen (usually 55 to 65 inches) that is mounted on a wall or built into a special niche in the operating room.
It is used to display images from various sources — endoscope, angiograph, ultrasound, microscope, PACS — so that the entire team can see everything happening on one screen.

A built‑in panel is a ready‑made module that can integrate a display, video control system, and other elements.
Such solutions make the operating room space tidy, convenient, and safe, removing extra cables and screens from the field of view.

Why they are needed

A modern operating room is not just a room with equipment, but a digital space where the doctor and team work with multiple sources of information.
Large displays and panels become part of the digital operating room system:

  • images, video, and patient data are displayed on them;
  • they unify the work of endoscopes, angiographs, microscopes, and video systems;
  • they provide a shared view for the entire team without the need for separate monitors.

Such a solution improves coordination, speeds up work, and helps all participants see the same thing — clearly and synchronously.

Key features

01 Large screen for the whole team

Screens with a diagonal of 55–65 inches provide a good view from any point in the operating room.
The image remains clear and vibrant even under bright lighting.

02 High image quality

4K / UHD resolution, wide viewing angle, and high contrast allow you to see the smallest details — vessels, tissues, instruments.

03 Multi‑visualization

Several sources can be displayed on one screen simultaneously — for example, endoscope video, physiologic monitoring data, and PACS images.
PiP / PbP modes allow flexible adjustment of the display for a specific task.

04 Safety and hygiene

Sealed housing, smooth glass surface, and the ability to disinfect make such solutions safe for use in sterile areas.

05 Built‑in communications

Many models have built‑in video signal routing units and can be connected to control, recording, or operation broadcast systems.

Where it is used

Hybrid operating rooms

and angiography suites

for simultaneous display of angiography, ultrasound, CT, and patient monitoring.

Digital

and endoscopic operating rooms

for team overview and video stream visualization.

Training

and demonstration centers

for showing surgery on a large screen or real‑time broadcasting.

Why this matters

When images and data are combined on one large screen, the team works faster and more confidently.

Instead of multiple monitors and cables, there is one clear, understandable interface where everything is visible at once.

This simplifies communication between the surgeon, assistant, anesthesiologist, and nurse, and increases the overall efficiency of the operating room.
